| Hi! I'm really happy that you are here (even if i won't know until you tell me ... ). Sorry, this Homepage ist mainly in german and that won't change in the near future. So I'll try to explain to you what's going on here. un-pop is a radio show that you may listen to on bermuda.funk, a 'freies Radio' (community-radio) in Mannheim, Germany. Frequencies and times are written here on the right. un-pop is also aired in Karlsruhe by Querfunk. un-pop wants to entertain you. But not too much. It also wants to challenge you with new, unknown yet interesting and hmmm ... challenging music. It's pretty difficult to put this in english words because I hardly get that right in german ... . un-pop is sure that capitalism sould be abolished, because it means mental and physical slavery. So un-pop is playing music that reflects on this aesthetically, by its lyrics or by the way it is produced. Or music that pleases and somehow has references to the aforementioned. And here come the things, you'll find on this Homepage (just a short translation of the links on the left side): start: The index-page with news. All in german. warum? means 'why?'. Someday there'll be a text telling you what un-pop wants ... if un-pop ever happens to get a clear picture of that. bisher: Here you'll find the playlists of un-pop right from the start in 2000. lesen: un-pop sometimes writes this or that. For example a flyer about a german band called MIA that tries to establish a 'new' german patriotism in their audience. This all was done together with 'Vorwärts und nicht Vergessen', a really cool radio-show on bermuda.funk. If you're interested but don't understand a thing, just ask. hoeren: Here you'll find audio-files of one or two shows I somehow liked. They're in OGG-Vorbis (64 kbit) and every newer media-player should be able to play them. If your media-player doesn't, you'll find some here or here. The files don't really have high end sound, but I hope it won't take too long to download them. anderes: The link-page. If you think, there are 'missing links', tell me. kontakt means contact. You should feel free to get in touch. If you like to, you also may send in your ideas, demos, promos and stuff. I guess there's pretty much interesting music around I don't know a thing about.
